After selection by the Academic Committee and Evaluation Committee of the World Academy of Productivity Sciences, Mr. Zhou Zeqi, Chairman and Chief Scientist of Dana (Tianjin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was selected as an academician of the World Academy of Productivity Sciences and awarded a medal and certificate. The human capital of the World Productivity Science Alliance is mainly composed of academicians of the World Academy of Productivity Sciences, and elected academicians must be selected by the nomination and evaluation committee, and finally determined. Dr. Zhou Zeqi is currently the Chairman/Chief Scientist of Dana (Tianjin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Previously served as a senior scientist at Bayer AG in the United States, chief scientist at Wyeth AG in the United States, and vice president of Tianjin International Institute of Biomedical Research.

 

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Ohio University, Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard Medical School, Leading Talent in Beijing Tianjin Hebei Biomedical Engineering, Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship under the Ten Thousand Talents Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vice Dean of the Business School of the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences, and Vice Chairman of the China US Association for Science and Technology Business.

 

In 2018, it was one of the top ten leaders in China's in vitro diagnostic industry. In 2019, it was selected as the "70 Years of the Republic" magazine of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology. In 2019, it was an outstanding innovation entrepreneur in China. In 2020, it was selected as the "Discovery" magazine of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology. It was also one of the 100 times entrepreneurs who celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and an international leader in scientific and technological innovation during the 14th Five Year Plan.

 

Dr. Zhou Zeqi has over 20 years of experience in theoretical research and product development in the field of pathogenic microorganisms and in vitro diagnosis of biopharmaceutical medical devices. He has a strong grasp of international and domestic scientific and technological development trends in the field of health, and has rich experience in project management. We are a global expert in the infection, detection, and diagnosis of pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. We have rich experience in original research and key common technology research in the field of pathogenic microbial diagnosis and examination, and have achieved significant landmark achievements with international influence in the fields of infectious etiology, infectious disease diagnosis, and infectious disease pathogenesis. He has been engaged in the research on the resistance mechanism of antibacterial drugs, the etiology of unknown infectious diseases, the resistance mechanism and stress response of bacteria and fungi, the interaction between pathogenic microorganisms and hosts, and the pathogenic mechanism. During my tenure as the Chief Scientist at a US diagnostic company, I have been involved in the development, clinical evaluation, and innovative in vitro tumor detection methods for the prevention of pneumonia and meningitis vaccines.

 

Published over 60 scientific and technological papers; Obtained 7 authorized international patents, over 50 authorized Chinese patents, over 50 registered and certified products with China NMPA (formerly CFDA), over 100 EU certified products, and delivered over 100 speeches and special reports at professional conferences both domestically and internationally.

 

Mr. Zhou Zeqi was recommended by Dean Chen Shengchang of the World Academy of Productivity Sciences to be selected as an academician of the World Academy of Productivity, continuing to make outstanding contributions to the in vitro diagnostic industry.
